Mr. Maloney - 3rd Grade
Mr. Greg Maloney
I have lived in the Wenatchee Valley almost all of my life. After high school, I attended Washington
State University. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sport Management, which led me to the
Tri-Cities where I worked for the Tri-City Americans Hockey Team. Four years later I decided to go back
to school to receive my degree in teaching. Once I left the Tri-Cities I made my way to Central
Washington University. While attending Central I got my B.A. in Elementary Education. After finishing
up the teaching program, I returned back to Wenatchee to start working in education. I was a substitute
teacher in the Wenatchee School District for four years, before I got my job at Saint Joseph School.
I am married to my wife Rebecca, and we have four children; Mallory, Nolan, Trenton, and Ella. We
currently live in East Wenatchee. Our three older children attend school in the Eastmont School District,
while Ella is enrolled in Pre-School.
As a teacher I love educating the whole student. Not only to have to develop into excellent students,
but have them grow as individuals. I love teaching Math and Social Studies. I have always had an
understanding of math growing up, while social studies lets me explore the world in all of its beauty.
I have had a wonderful experience working at Saint Joseph School. Since my first day, the love and joy
which radiates from the schools community makes it a great place to be. It is not just a school it is a
family, where everyone is welcomed and loved. The children are amazing to work with on a daily basis.
They are deep in faith and education, which drives them to accomplish wonderful things in their lives.
